Positions available

Postdoctoral fellow position available in the Regenerative Nanomedicine Laboratory (www.yimlab.com), which a focus on application of nanotopography patterning and hydrogel for vascular biomaterials and tissue engineering applications, in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.  Position starts in Winter or Spring (January to August) 2025. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative candidate with experience in blood compatible materials, mammalian (vascular) cell culture, molecular biology analysis, and in vivo vascular studies.  Qualified applicants are expected to hold a doctoral degree in life sciences, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or materials science, and be prepared to take advantage of the rich collaborative and interdisciplinary environment of our research group.  A strong record of previous research experience is required.
